There are differing factors that will determine which size, make and model of combi boiler is the most suitable for your home.
This includes considering your budget, the size of your house, the incoming flow rate on the cold outlet, and warranty cover length.
You will need to decide whether you would prefer to invest in high quality boiler, or if you would prefer a more budget option. Cheaper combi boilers generally use aluminium for the heat exchanger, which is better at transferring the heat, but it's not as robust as a stainless steel heat exchanger. And some manufacturers also use more plastic components rather than the more hardy brass alternative.

A boiler quote can only be determined by our engineers after a visit to assess your house, however to give you an idea of what kinds of costs can be expected from a new boiler installation, here is an idea of the cost of a selection of boilers from some of the leading manufacturers.
These are starting prices for a 24kw sized boiler, which would generally be suitable for small house/flat. Medium sized houses would need a slightly increased power of 30kw, or a house with 2 bathrooms would benefit from 40-50kw.

As standard we will install the Honeywell Home Wireless thermostat. This is a great option that has a table stand or can be wall mounted and can be programmed to a heating schedule.
